Australia’s Youth Olympians return with all their own items thanks to new Official Supplier, Stuck On You

23 October 2018

23 October 2018: Stuck On You is proud to be an Official Supplier to the Australian Olympic Committee, supporting our young Aussie champs who have just returned from an incredible campaign at the 2018 Youth Olympic Games in Buenos Aires, Argentina.

4,000 athletes competed from around the world and incredibly, the Australian team has returned with no lost items thanks to new supplier Stuck On You.

“Our Olympic athletes rely on our partners in many different ways. Stuck On You offers a specialised and very important helping hand when moving large numbers of athletes and all their essential gear around the globe.

As we look towards Tokyo 2020 and the daunting task of managing well in excess of 450 athletes in one of the world’s busiest cities, Stuck On You will help our team stick together.

When athletes are preparing for their moment on the Olympic stage, managing gear and equipment is all part of giving our team every opportunity to shine,” says Matt Carroll AM, CEO of the AOC.

If they haven’t been to a Games already, Australian athletes and officials soon discover that the logistics around uniforms is one of the hardest parts of managing a team. With so many identical uniforms, busy competitors, multiple venues and transport legs, you have a sure-fire recipe for lost things - not to mention unpleasant mix-ups such as accidentally using someone else’s socks or drink bottle.

As the experts in name labels and other personalised products, Stuck On You supplied a collection of exclusively-designed, Olympic-themed name labels, clothing name stamps and bag tags which helped our athletes keep track of uniforms, water bottles, and even lucky teddy bears!

As the best investment against loss, the labels stuck and stayed stuck on prized possessions, allowing our Youth Olympians to focus on the things that really mattered - like karate-kicking, backhanding or javelin-throwing their way into the history books!

The excitement doesn’t stop there, however. Stuck On You is also looking forward to supplying perfectly personalised products to our champions competing in:

  • The 2020 Winter Youth Olympic Games in Lausanne, Switzerland
  • The 2020 Olympic Games in Tokyo, Japan
